What we collect

Merchant Migrate collects the minimum data necessary to operate:

  • Account information — If you create an account or purchase Pro, we store your email address and license status to verify your subscription.
  • Google API data — The plugin accesses your Google Merchant Center data (feed configurations, labels, prices, supplemental feeds) via OAuth to perform the audit and migration. This data is processed locally on your WordPress server and is not transmitted to our servers.
  • Plugin settings — Your configuration (OAuth credentials, selected Merchant Center account) is stored in your WordPress database.

What we don't collect

  • We do not send your Google Merchant Center data to our servers.
  • We do not collect your WooCommerce product data, customer information, or order history.
  • We do not track your browsing activity.
  • We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

How the plugin works

Merchant Migrate is a WordPress plugin that runs on your server. It connects to the Google Merchant Center API via OAuth to read your feed configuration. All audit processing happens on your WordPress server. The only external communication is between your server and Google's APIs, and between your server and our license verification endpoint (to check Pro subscription status).

Google API usage

The plugin requests access to your Google Merchant Center through OAuth 2.0. We request read-only access to:

  • Merchant Center account information
  • Product data feeds and their configurations
  • Feed labels and supplemental feed settings

You can revoke access at any time through your Google account permissions.

Data storage

  • Your WordPress database — Plugin settings, OAuth tokens, and cached audit results are stored in your WordPress database.
  • Our servers — We store your email address and license status for subscription verification. No Merchant Center or WooCommerce data is stored on our servers.

Third-party services

  • Google APIs — Content API for Shopping and Merchant API for feed data access. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
  • Paddle — Payment processing and subscription management. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record. Subject to Paddle's Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You can request deletion of your account data at any time by emailing support. If you deactivate the plugin, you can delete all plugin data from your WordPress database through the plugin settings.
